Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting, finance or Structured Finance
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer service abilities in English and Japanese is essential. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese and Korean languages is a plus.
- Excellent organization, administration, and data entry accuracy.
- Capable of working independently under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel; familiarity with Excel VBA and SQL would be beneficial
Education
- BSc (or equivalent) in finance, economics or relevant discipline; work experience in accounting, finance, or structured finance background preferred
Responsibilities
- Capturing data from servicer reports, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitoring data entry by outsourced resources, providing feedback, and developing training materials to prevent errors.
- Collaborating with ratings and support analysts to review data and adjustments necessary for Ratings and Research.
- Publishing research reports where required and coordinating with analysts and transaction counterparties for timely data receipt.
- Managing the filing and uploading of research documents and servicer reports.
- Responding promptly to queries from investors, servicers, and internal stakeholders.
- Exploring opportunities for automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency in manual processes
About the Team
The SFG Data & Analytics team consists of a diverse set of Financial Data Analysts (FDA), supporting Structured Finance group. The team is based in multiple locations including London, Frankfurt, Bangalore, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo in order to support Analysts based in EMEA, the AMERICAS and ASIA PACIFIC.
