Skills and Competencies
- 12+ years of experience as an individual contributor, leading complex software and data sales across a wide range of GCC and broader Middle East financial industry accounts.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-ticket sales while managing sales processes end-to-end.
- Strong overall knowledge of banking and the critical role of risk and analytics in key workflows.
- Preferably strong knowledge of risk, including national and international regulations such as Basel, IFRS 9, climate, cybersecurity, and GRC.
- Strong work ethic: independent, systematic, highly organized, persuasive, approachable, and capable of engaging with prospects and customers at all levels.
- Strong networker with connections in relevant industries and a keen awareness of the latest trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective in both in-person and virtual settings.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
Education
BA/BS degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, JD/LLB, MA/MS, MEng, etc.) preferred.
Responsibilities
A position is available to manage customers within the Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, and Private Banking industries. There is significant opportunity to deliver the full enterprise offering to these customers at far greater scale than at present, to the benefit of both the customers and Moody’s. This person will identify, develop, and grasp such opportunities, working with colleagues across the organization and across the industry to do so.
- Drive strategic engagement and commercial relationships in key customers; ensuring Moody’s delivery.
- Deliver an enterprise proposition to customers that addresses their specific and strategic needs while establishing C-suite dialogue and relationships.
- Find new opportunities through strategic projects to scale against core customers; lead extension of propositions.
- Build, deliver, and track strategic account plans; forecast, report key information and performance indicators.
- Connect customers into Moody’s: act as the most senior relationship leader and escalation point, who makes connections to address opportunities, resolve issues, and lead the engagement.
- Leverage deep insight into target sectors to uncover opportunities and risks for customers while addressing them.
- Share feedback and market intelligence with internal segments and management.
