Skills and Competencies
- Ability to create and drive a strategic content strategy, creating a structured calendar for content and bringing together diverses areas of the segment into an aligned approach
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of B2B-focused content (long and short-form)
- Strong project management abilities; able to lead multiple initiatives and track progress
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a small team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to guide teams in applying AI tools to streamline workflows, uncover insights, and boost marketing efficiency
- Curious and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for exploring AI systems and a commitment to learning responsible AI practices—including risk management, ethical use, and transparency
Education
- BA in journalism, English, communications, marketing or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of content and campaigns that drive Moody’s Banking business growth and thought leadership
- Drive the content strategy and editorial calendar for the Banking segment, aligning with business objectives to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of content and campaign professionals
- Partner with Banking business and marketing teams to create cohesive, customer-focused stories and ensure unified messaging
- Create compelling content for Banking professionals, including messaging, blogs, social media, white papers, website copy, videos, bylined articles, customer stories, email copy, and presentations
- Own the end-to-end content of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, social, events) to support go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with Banking Industry Practice Leads and subject matter experts to produce authoritative thought leadership and execute major campaigns around key themes
- Champion a data-driven marketing culture, using insights for continuous improvement
- Partner with PR to supply stories and comments that generate media coverage
About the team
Our Banking Marketing team is responsible for defining and communicating the go-to-market strategy for Moody’s banking segment solutions. This work generates qualified leads that produces revenue and ultimately help drive the continual growth of the segment
