Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills for complex data structures and issue identification.
- Proficiency in ETL processes (data extraction, transformation, loading).
- Experience mapping and validating data between systems, ensuring data quality and compliance
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders and capable of troubleshooting and resolving data migration challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
- Experience with Power BI and Alteryx for reporting and workflow automation.
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Skilled in advanced validation, profiling, and root cause analysis to improve data accuracy and reliability.
- Experienced in cross-functional coordination to resolve data issues and align on migration requirements.
- Proficient in Alteryx and Databricks for workflow automation and data transformation to support decision-making.
- Capable of maintaining SOPs, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation to support governance and audit readiness.
- Hands-on with Collibra, DBeaver, pgAdmin, and Microsoft Access for managing master data and metadata across systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, Commerce with 5+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise-wide data migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across systems.
- Analyze existing data structures to determine migration needs and dependencies.
- Collect, cleanse, and validate datasets from multiple sources.
- Document business rules for data quality checks.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Map data fields between source and target systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Transform data to meet new system specifications and business logic.
- Execute ETL processes for data migration, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor migration progress and resolve issues in real time.
- Identify and address data discrepancies, anomalies, and errors.
- Collaborate with business users, data stewards, and technical teams to gather requirements, implement corrective actions and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Create dashboards and reports to highlight trends and document data quality issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including migration plans, mappings, validation rules, and post-migration reports.

The RTS (Rating Transaction Service) provides transaction management support, workflow coordination, rating desk services, and other broad operational support to Moody’s Investors Service’s Rating teams. The department works closely with the lines of business to improve both business process and data quality across the rating lifecycle. The RTS has over 100 employees in 5 countries and is a key player in business process development, new company wide initiatives, and technology projects.
Annual base salary gross: Rs907,900.00 to Rs1,725,100.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
