Skills and Competencies

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive processes with no error. Strong administrator or process orientated/driven with excellent administrative skills
  • Willing to accept new challenges. Demonstrates flexibility with last minute changes in commitments and deadlines.
  • Places interest of the team above individual self-interest. Contributes positively to the team even under pressure or when performing routine and/or administrative tasks.
  • Continue to develop broad based knowledge of financial instruments, terminology, and related business practices – intellectually curious/engaged with what the team does
  • A strong customer focused orientation with the drive and passion required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use. 

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (E.g. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience)
  • Entry level position.  Some relevant work experience and/or relevant internship experience preferred. 

 

Responsibilities
On a day to day basis, you’ll be verifying the data, content and regulatory disclosures in all press releases to ensure they are accurate and follow all applicable guidelines and procedures; identifying any issues and discrepancies for follow up, before releasing the press releases to our websites and the market in a timely manner.

  • Monitor designated mailboxes to ensure timely and effective handling of requests.
  • Facilitate resolutions to technical issues and/or more complex inquiries; and promptly and efficiently escalates conflicts/problems
  • Track and monitor tasks and discrepancies
  • Build positive relationships with clients and business partners e.g. the Communications, Information Technology and Compliance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and to deliver a high level of service across high volume of transactions.
  • Demonstrate an increasing awareness of procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements as it pertains to their job function by asking relevant questions.
  • Provide back-up coverage for designated associate in the event of absence and holidays to ensure seamless and global service to GMO clients.

About the Team
The Release Management team is responsible for ensuring the vital final verifications on press releases, ratings and relevant disclosures are completed before publishing to the Moody’s websites and the wider market. The team works together to support different lines of business globally in disseminating this information, whilst ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and that internal control processes are followed.
