Job Title – Business System Analyst (Operations Analyst)

Skills and Competencies

• 2-4 years of experience in incident management and application performance monitoring set-up and tuning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux OS environments and providing software application support.

• Experience with SQL and Python for log analysis.

• Basic understanding of ITIL Process and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP).

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as shell scripting/PowerShell.

• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog/Dynatrace and ticketing tools like SNOW/Jira.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in performance testing and collaborating with QA teams for system testing and optimization.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

• Lead incident management, including monitoring, detection, and resolution of system issues.

• Conduct root cause analysis investigations and prepare detailed reports including customer-facing RCA findings.

• Develop and implement monitoring solutions, dashboards, and reports.

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to system performance and incidents.

• Automate detection and resolution of recurring issues.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into operational solutions.

• Communicate updates, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Perform performance testing and collaborate with QA team to identify capacity limits.
