Lead technical support and system engineering efforts to ensure optimal performance and reliability of Api and web applications.
Skills and Competencies
- 1+ years of technical support experience on web applications and api.
- Self-motivated independent thinker and problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with incident management processes, ITIL framework, and best practices.
- Experience across all phases of software development, working with Agile teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or Splunk is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage case queues: Handle requests and issues in software programs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in bridge calls: Address high severity issues and be available for urgent situations.
- Design monitoring frameworks: Develop and maintain dashboards for actionable insights into application performance.
- Monitor alerts: Resolve platform performance issues using synthetic monitoring alerts and other tools.
- Track customer-reported bugs: Use issue tracking systems to manage and resolve bugs.
- Project ownership: Ensure timely communication of updates and progress to internal teams.
- Customer triage sessions: Address technical issues with customers and provide solutions.
- Document triage steps: Create knowledge base entries for future reference and training.
- Weekend Coverage: Provide weekend coverage as part of an established operational schedule.
About the team
Our Operations team is responsible on observability, application performance monitoring (APM) tuning, incident management, data analysis and ensuring the optimal performance of critical applications within cloud environments.
