Skills and Competencies

• Passion for building AI-powered products on the frontier of agent development
• Pride in building reliable, maintainable systems
• Hands-on experience with utilizing coding agents, such as Cursor, Claude Code, in software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong Python skills; exposure to Go or TypeScript is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD and cloud platforms
• Eagerness to learn MLOps practices and modern AI infrastructure
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using tools like Copilot and ChatGPT to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions, including agentic AI systems, to solve business challenges.
• Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
• Experience with Databricks, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code preferred
• Exposure to LLM applications or agent frameworks preferred

Education 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ML infrastructure that powers AI agents and models in production
• Develop reliable data pipelines and model serving systems using cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Containerize and deploy ML applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate models into production systems
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability

The Compliance & 3rd-Party Risk unit at Moody's builds AI-powered solutions for KYC, Supply Chain, and Trade Credit risk management. We're seeking an ML Engineer to join our Data & AI team building the next generation of agent-based systems and ML infrastructure.
