Skills and Competencies

  • 3–5 years of experience in client-facing roles, preferably in the data or SaaS industries.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver both high-level overviews and detailed product demonstrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages (Spanish or Greek preferred) are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the assigned territory (UK, Ireland, and Europe) and execute a strategic sales expansion plan to exceed annual targets.
  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle, including initiating outreach through campaigns, cold calls, and emails.
  • Represent Moody’s as a trusted partner to institutional clients and prospects in the public sector.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Moody’s solutions and premium data offerings.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Solution Specialists to ensure a unified market approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel, to engage with clients and prospects.
