Skills and Competencies

  • Strong quantitative background, with exposure to scenario generation, asset valuation, or portfolio optimization models
  • Familiarity with buy-side investment strategies, including multi-asset solutions and risk management frameworks, is a plus
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, asset specialists, and technology teams
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and SaaS investment analytics tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
  • Available for a 10-week internship from June 15 to August 21, 2026

Responsibilities

As part of the Asset Management business unit, the Summer Intern will contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance portfolio management and client engagement. The intern will focus on applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to address real-world challenges faced by asset managers, consultants, and pension plans.

  • Designing and implementing AI-based tools to support asset allocation and portfolio optimization
  • Developing innovative solutions such as natural language interfaces for client interactions and multi-period optimization models
  • Streamlining reporting processes and creating automated workflows for client presentations
  • Collaborating with product managers, asset specialists, and technology teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Operating independently on assigned projects while maintaining regular check-ins with team members
  • Staying current with emerging AI technologies and applying them to deliver impactful outcomes
