Skills and Competencies
- 8+ years of experience in software consulting, financial services, or product management, including 3–5+ years leading product managers on complex, data and workflow heavy products.
- Proven domain fluency in commercial lending and financial statement analysis; hands-on experience with financial spreading systems and credit analytics strongly preferred.
- Track record steering multiteam delivery of integrated capabilities (APIs, data pipelines, model integrations) and delivering releases with accessibility and quality gates.
- Skilled cross functional operator—able to align Engineering, Services, Sales/Client Success Management, Legal, and Pricing around clear decisions and timelines.
- Prior experience using Generative AI tools to maximize workplace productivity is a plus.
- Excellent communicator: you move seamlessly between executive narratives and story/acceptance criteria, and you create momentum with crisp product writing and visuals.
- Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and release planning using tools like JIRA
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a
- willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree attained in Finance, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Warranty the Product
- Actively participate in the Customer Retention Team by monitoring the Product Support queue for client reported issues
- Respond with urgency to replicate and resolve client reported issues
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and QA teams to ensure defect fixes are accurately assessed, remedied, and deployed to client production environments
- Focus on continual process improvement in the product warranty process
- Drive customer value & adoption
- Engage regularly with customers globally across Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Agriculture, and Small Business lending to identify their pain points and validate the solutions; turn insights into shippable increments and adoption plans.
- Ensure Sales, Services, and Customer Success have demo environments and storytelling assets that showcase real world use cases and sharpen our commercial narrative.
- Ship great product, predictably
- Lead outcomes driven planning with multiple squads; align discovery, delivery, and release criteria so work lands on time with the right quality bar (including accessibility and regulatory considerations).
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and quality management of Moody’s Lending Suite.
- Orchestrate go to market & lifecycle
- Work with Pricing/Licensing, Legal, and Sales Operations to keep packaging and commercial constructs clean and scalable; guide migration paths from legacy offerings with minimal disruption.
- Create crisp product narratives (documentation, slide decks, one-pagers) that communicate the “why,” the “what,” and the “how” to executives, field teams, and customers.
- Lead and grow PM talent
- Coach product managers to excellence in discovery, prioritization, and cross functional influence; raise the bar on Product Requirement Documents, experiment design, and decision memos.
- Build a culture of measurable outcomes, transparent decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Provide expertise and support to Lending Suite Solutions stakeholders, including Sales and Client Support teams.
About the team
Our Lending Suite Origination Product Team is responsible for delivering all products and packages that support loan origination workflows covering Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Agriculture, and Small Business asset classes.
Our team contributes to Moody’s by offering essential credit analysis and risk assessment tools to our global customer base. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in within the Product Management team.
