For those who may not be familiar, can you provide a brief overview of what Maxsight™ is and its primary objectives?

Maxsight™ is Moody’s new AI-enabled, cloud-based risk platform built to unify and enhance how companies understand and manage risk. Designed with a 360-degree vision, Maxsight™ integrates Moody’s trusted datasets and existing product ecosystem into a seamless solution that helps our customers perform critical risk processes—from onboarding and sanctions screening to supply chain risk management. By delivering actionable risk intelligence across functions like compliance, procurement, sales, marketing, and executive leadership, Maxsight™ empowers faster, smarter decision-making organization-wide.


What does a typical day look like for you while working on Maxsight™?

Every day involves different tasks, keeping the role dynamic. The responsibilities include developing go-to-market strategies, such as identifying new sub-segments to target, determining appropriate narratives for those audiences, and configuring Maxsight™ to align with different needs. The role also extends to pre-sales strategy, exploring new methods of demonstrating the product to effectively convey its value proposition to customers. Additionally, the position requires acting as a product ambassador while supporting workshops, conferences, internal training, and marketing efforts.


What are some of the biggest challenges you face while working on Maxsight™, and how do you and your team overcome them?

The main challenge is to keep up with an evolving product that adapts to new customers, use cases, enhanced features, and new partnership integrations. Clear internal communication is crucial to managing changes. Encouraging feedback around the table helps us stay focused on what's important from all perspectives.


How does Maxsight™ benefit Moody's customers?

Customers value having one platform to operate different risk-related processes. Maxsight™ can be used to process entities and provide risk insights with different workflows in mind. A unified risk platform, paired with powerful data and great ease-of-use, means Maxsight™ can be used to support various teams and roles, such as risk officers, procurement personnel, legal teams, and almost anyone involved in managing third-party risk.


What has been your most rewarding experience while working on Maxsight™?

Our team created a library of pre-configured environments and training videos, which got us a lot of appreciation. I'm particularly excited about our Auto-Demo Strategy project, where we're working with a third party to create automated demos of Maxsight™. These demos will allow customers to use the platform in a sleek and secure sandbox that looks and feels like Maxsight™, with AI narration and links to relevant documentation.


What advice would you give to alumni who are interested in pursuing a career in analytics, technology, or product development like Maxsight™?

One of the most valuable skills is bringing a fresh, creative perspective. My advice? Always ask yourself, ‘What’s the ultimate goal?’ Keeping that in focus helps maintain a dynamic mindset and approach.


Where do you see Maxsight™ heading in the next few years?

With Maxsight™ we’re expanding in the market with a unified solution, so my vision is for Maxsight™ to be considered as best-in-class for risk management. The brand will deliver that sense of confidence and security to companies who need to stay on top of risk while working with third parties in an era of exponential risk.
