Skills and Competencies

• Experience in credit/financial data analysis and interpretation (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of structured finance and capital markets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on complex deliverables and collaboratively within a team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; advanced interpersonal skills.
• Initiative in leading projects or process improvements.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting.
• CFA/FRM preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs data, analytical, and research services supporting credit analysis for structured finance ratings.
• Analyze financial data to support ratings, research, and analytical outreach.
• Independently manage complex deliverables, such as primary loan-by-loan pools and covered bond tasks.
• Prepare detailed credit opinions and apply Moody’s standards to data inputs for ratings and research.
• Scrub and validate complex data for use in research and ratings.
• Review and interpret financial reports, official statements, and issuer performance documents.
• Collaborate with ratings and support analysts to understand data requirements and adjustments.
• Lead projects or process improvements as needed.
• Review work of junior team members for straightforward tasks.
