Latam External Communications Intern

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous internship experience or broad understanding of communications best practices is a plus.

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism or Marketing or a related field.
  • Start Date: March 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of external communication strategies in Latin America, aimed at supporting a wide range of business units within Moody’s.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather, analyze, and interpret communication needs and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Support in the creation of communication materials, such as media pitches, social media content and presentations, adhering to organizational guidelines and standards.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of external communications trackers, ensuring detailed records of media activity are captured.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking relevant news and market trends. Contribute to monitoring and reporting on Moody’s media coverage.
  • Provide support with administering the team’s projects using Trello.
