As a Director Principal Lead Engineer, you will act as the Dev Lead for a workstream responsible for developing and executing on a vision for how to grow the KYC/KYS business monumentally. You will practice an Agile, highly delivery and quality focused, and learning-based approach in every step of your journey.
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:
* Serve as a direct line manager for a team
* Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to interpret requirements for Business Missions/Epics owned by the stream
* Provide feedback on requirements from a technical perspective, and provide estimates for user stories and tasks
* Lead design activities for Business Missions/Epics owned by the stream
* Take ownership of business missions/epics and stories and implement and test features based on the requirements
* Define and maintain coding standards, and guide team members to comply with these standards
* Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to fix defects
* Collaborate with build and release engineers to prepare packages and solve environment issues, define metrics for software integrations
* Investigate and find the root cause for software problems reported by product teams. Communicate with product teams via email and phone regarding these defects
* Maintain technical documents for product and project delivery
* Review code, lead refactoring activities, provide guidance from technical perspective for all Software Engineering team members
* Work with more senior team members to continuously improve the team’s engineering practices
* Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing in or across teams

Qualifications:
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related major from a top institution, Master’s degree is a plus
* 15+ years of professional software design and development experience on multi-tiered enterprise applications
* Experience filling a lead role on a team that uses agile processes, including SCRUM
* Quickly learns new technologies and is motivated to learn latest technologies, driving own professional development and sharing this knowledge with others
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and independently manage time
* Works well in a fast-paced team environment and can work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Has superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving
* Expert in middle-tier and backend programming languages, such as RUST, Python, GCP, React, NODE, Bootstrap, Material Design Expert in REST APIs
