Skills and Competencies
- 2+ years of work experience in this sector or other related fields.
- Proficiency in English & Mandarin is required, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, outlook, excel etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take the initiative when necessary.
- The ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Education
- Undergraduate or advanced degree with course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting, and enhancing databases that are accessible online to subscribers, as well as supporting clients with their data-related needs.
- Respond to client requests and enquiries, providing clear and effective support.
- Assist internal and external clients in accessing and understanding our data offerings.
- Continuously improve existing processes and procedures to increase the speed and accuracy of data updates.
- Expand the current data offering by incorporating additional economic or demographic indicators and identifying new data sources.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including internal procedures and explanatory materials covering data collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions related to economic or demographic indicators.
About the team
We manage, enrich, and validate ownership links within our database, OBO (Ownership Back Office). These links are primarily sourced from ownership data feeds provided by Information Providers, supplemented by manual encoding where necessary. Our responsibilities include operating control mechanisms, handling client requests, and executing matching processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Each week, we deliver updated information on a wide range of entities, including Shareholders, Subsidiaries, Beneficial Owners, Global Ultimate Owners, Sole Traders, Funds, Branches, Foreign Companies, Vessels, and Directors.
