Skills and Competencies
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience in data management, operations, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks
- High attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written); proficiency in Swedish or other Nordic languages is a plus
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) is a plus
- Experience working with the public sector in Denmark is a plus
- Interest or experience in investigative research or journalism is a bonus
Education
- A bachelor’s degree with coursework in economics, finance, data, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance data accuracy through research, analysis, and quality checks
- Collect, analyze, and insert/update Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) data in the database according to business processes
- Perform regular PEP data quality controls to ensure accuracy
- Support and participate in maintaining the company’s databases that are available online to clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Learn to evaluate online sources for data collection, including web scraping and manual research
- Research pertinent regulations and use findings to build requirements for data aggregation
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including internal procedures, data collection methods, and definitions
- Respond to and resolve client inquiries, providing assistance and support for accessing and understanding our data
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows and documentation for better accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate clearly and build strong working relationships with team members in Operations
About the Team
Our Premium Data Operations team is responsible for managing and enhancing the quality of Moody’s Analytics KYC GRID Database. We provide the foundational data that our clients rely on for risk assessment and decision-making, ensuring the integrity of our analytics platform. The team also supports clients by responding to data-related inquiries and delivering timely assistance.
