Skills and Competencies

  • Programming skills are essential, ideally in Python or R
  • Knowledge of ML/statistical/econometric models with strong willingness to learn AI methods
  • Responsible person who can work well with others
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with technical writing or instructional design highly desirable
  • You must be available to work in a hybrid role in Prague 16th June - 22nd August (This is flexible if it clashes with exam dates)

Education

  • A BS degree student in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or other relevant field
  • Programming skills are essential, ideally in Python or R

About the team

As the center for innovative modeling in economics and credit risk, the Predictive Analytics unit empowers Moody’s customers to gain insight from data, model challenging problems, and make faster, better decisions. Our customers include banks, insurance companies and asset managers, corporates, as well as governments, regulators, and supervisory authorities globally.

The Regional Growth and Analytics team, in particular, is committed to provide solutions and insights that align with customer aspirations and needs through advanced analytics and thought leadership. We create an exceptional customer experience by leveraging our unique expertise and developing various tools. Our scope also covers research to support Sales team, customer success activities and business development.

The candidate will have the chance to participate in providing research insights by developing applied research and content as well as support development of analytical tools. This would allow them to engage in multiple tasks including work with our platforms to create relatable use cases, business studies and papers which would reveal benefits and features of PA solutions.
