Skills and Competencies.

  • Entry-level role; 1-2 years of relevant work or internship experience preferred, especially in financial data or product environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying business concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and self-motivated with minimal need for supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, and a passion for delivering results.

 

Education

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (E.g. Bachelor’s degree) is preferred ideally within a financial discipline.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for Periodic Review Announcements, including setup, data capture, quality assurance, and workflow tracking for rating analysts.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality service across a high volume of transactions, while resolving process issues and maintaining data integrity.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data updates, AOPR actions, press release templates, and disclosures in line with regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • Monitor shared mailboxes and prioritize internal/external client requests, escalating technical or complex issues as needed.
  • Offer backup coverage for the Costa Rica team during absences or holidays to maintain seamless operations.
  • Build strong client relationships by resolving inquiries efficiently and communicating professionally with stakeholders and management.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude in handling routine tasks, last-minute changes, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

About the team

The RTS (Rating Transaction Service) provides transaction management support, workflow coordination, rating desk services, and other broad operational support to Moody’s Rating teams. The department works closely with the lines of business to improve both business process and data quality across the rating lifecycle. The RTS has over 100 employees in 5 countries and is a key player in business process development, new company wide initiatives, and technology projects.
