Responsibilities:
You’d be joining a team of 400 researchers dedicated to collecting, organizing and verifying commercial real estate data. This position is a new role for MA CRE, conducting CRE research as our "boots on the ground" research presence in a given market. The In-Market CRE Researcher is our eyes and ears; responsible for collecting data and building relationships that can only be done in-person.
* Obtain, confirm and enter property level information into our proprietary commercial real estate database. Validate information through review of websites, news sources, and internet research.
* Collect information by traveling to properties within the market. Validate construction status, tenancy, occupancy and other key information. Photograph properties for use in proprietary database.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners, brokerages and real estate professionals. Establish data-sharing partnerships.
* Represent MA CRE at local industry events. Host quarterly data advisory meetings for key industry professionals.
* Effectively prioritize workload, ensuring that time-sensitive tasks are done efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
* Experience working in a role where data is processed.
* Strong computer and data entry skills.
* Demonstrated research capabilities (web-based, library, telephone).
* Relationship management capabilities. Ability to communicate professionally in written communication, phone/web meetings, and in-person.
* Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and common sense.
* Self-motivated and able to work remotely while effectively communicating with a team.
* Frequent travel required within the local market. Some out-of-market travel (<5% of time) may be required.
Education & Experience
* 2+ years in a Real Estate environment.
* Experience in customer service or account management roles preferred, but not required.
* High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
