Skills and Competencies.
- Preferred experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or consulting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact comfortably with different levels of management and present issues clearly.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to change quickly.
- Highly organized, efficient, and proficient in MS Office (Excel, VBA, macros, VLookups, Word, PowerPoint); proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau, Python is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Moody’s rating systems, analysis tools, and operational processes is a plus.
Education
- Undergraduate BA/BS degree in business, finance/economics, risk management, data analytics, or similar field is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing control testing engagements under the supervision of senior control testers.
- Document testing findings, prepare working papers, and participate in the development of testing programs and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and interact with key stakeholders globally to support Moody’s Ratings strategy and activities.
- Support efforts to standardize operational business processes, enhance operating efficiency, and apply process analysis, business intelligence, and problem-solving techniques.
- Understand the processes under review, use critical thinking to ensure identified risks are appropriately mitigated by management procedures, and assist with performing root-cause analysis, remediation, and process improvements.
- Proactively develop Subject Matter Expertise on Rating Processes, Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, and collaborate with the team in developing meaningful recommendations for projects and control testing activities.
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize time, and communicate potential conflicts to lead tester.
About the team
The Regulatory Support and Controls (RSC) team in Moody´s Ratings Operations is responsible for the execution, support, remediation and controls of processes and enabling technology that support the end-to-end credit rating process and regulatory-mandated processes.
Our company is seeking an BPM Associate- Control Tester to join our team. The BPM Associate-Control Tester will be responsible supporting for and executing operational, and regulatory reporting control testing activities across the organization. The ideal candidate should have an academic background in auditing, risk management, and internal controls. The BPM Associate- Control Tester will work closely with the control testing team to ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
