Overview: Moody's Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Manager for the automation team within the Finance Data and Analytics department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, process transformation, and automation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage business process optimization and transformation initiatives within the Finance Data and Analytics team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
  • Assess current processes, map out data inputs and outputs, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the Design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using tools such as Alteryx, RPA tools, Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production automation solutions, ensuring their reliability and performance.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and databases to ensure seamless operation.
  • Utilize machine learning algorithms and models to enhance automation capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in automation, AI, and machine learning to continually improve and innovate automation solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with automation solutions such as Alteryx, RPA tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), Python, SQL, Generative AI, and machine learning tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) a plus
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in automation, AI, or machine learning are highly desirable.
  • Process certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, PMP) is highly desirable.
