Role:
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the product development of our products and services. This role is primarily focused on our Media Solutions’ NewsEdge suite of products and will include responsibilities for both internal and external tools. Our NewsEdge suite offers our customers a comprehensive, global collection of real-time news and news derived insights to support our users across industries and job functions.
In this role, the Associate Product Manager will support the product development process as we synthesize feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to define and outline business requirements for our NewsEdge family of solutions, including internal administrative tools that support the packaging, permissions and delivery of our services. The Associate Product Manager will coordinate with design, technology, and marketing teams in developing and improving products and features.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research (stakeholder, customer, competitive, etc,) to inform the product development process
- Define requirements for features including user stories and test cases
- Manage product development process working with technology and design teams to successfully implement new features and build new features
- Define go-to-market activities to launch new capabilities
- Liaise and work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to find synergies with other Moody’s Analytics products and deliver integrated solutions
- Develop and maintain internal and external documentation, collateral, videos, and training materials including conducting internal training for stakeholders
- Respond to product questions from sales, marketing and other internal stakeholders
- Provide support to customers
- Coordinate resources across the product lifecycle to assure projects are delivered on time
- Demonstrate, promote and support of NewsEdge both internally and externally
Qualifications:
- A detail-oriented individual with a BA/BS degree including non-conventual majors (STEM, Humanities, Communications) or conventual majors (Marketing, Economics, Finance) with strong communication (verbal and written), organizational and problem-solving skills
- Applicants should have up to 5 years-work experience, including internships and other academic experiences along with the ability to work pro-actively on several tasks while managing deadlines
- Our team uses a variety of software applications which requires comfort using office applications, project management, and design solutions such as MS Office Suite, Slack, Jira, Confluence, FIGMA, MIRO and other applications
