Education

  • Undergrade or Graduate majoring on Economics, Business, Finance, Maths, Science or Engineering subjects.
  • Interest in Climate, ESG and Sustainability, and appetite to learn and perform both guided and independent research in these areas
  • Knowledge of - alternatively proven appetite to learn about - financial and business dynamics involved in running a software business

Responsibilities

The Internship Program will provide you the opportunity to gain insights into a broad range of financial institutions, working within our Banking Unit, passionate about delivering high quality products and services across our client base. With a combination of formal and on-the-job training, alongside ongoing mentoring, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across Climate initiatives.

As an intern, you will support small market strategy initiatives. You will learn how to:

  • Analyse the climate risk landscape across our key markets to identify use cases and map them to Moody’s Banking products
  • Support the definition of offering roadmap, through understanding of customer needs and requirements and articulating into solution design.
  • Development business cases to guide effective investment and resourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and other functions to articulate enabling internal and external feedback to help refine and market propositions.
  • Develop and execute project plans, identify project risks and facilitate mitigation options.
  • Generate reports on KPIs to provide meaningful insight and perspective in successes, potential sets back and mitigation actions.

About the team

The Climate Strategy team is responsible for driving purposeful engagement with the banking industry, with a primary focus on the development of new climate-aware propositions for Moody’s banking solutions, in line with the continuous expansion of the climate discipline in the banking sector. The team’s goal is to drive sustained growth through supporting the development and deployment of appropriate solutions for our customers.
