Skills and Competencies

• 10+ years of development experience in Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with a focus on full-stack web development.
• Extensive experience in both back-end and front-end development
• Generative AI experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead and collaborate on projects that drive innovation and deliver business value through AI-powered solutions.
• Experience in Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with a focus on full-stack web development.
• Experience in building and deploying RAG-based Generative AI solutions, such as
• Chatbots and Enterprise knowledge assistants, using Azure AI Search, ML Studio, Copilot Studio, LangChain, OpenAI API, or custom LLMs. Familiarity with ML
• frameworks and NLP techniques.
• Experience with MLOps workflows and pipeline automation.
• Strong experience with web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience in front-end development using modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Cosmos DB) database management systems.
• Experience in designing architectures of cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as unittest, Pytest, Cypress and Jest.
• Strong experience with app development and deployment using MS Teams.
• Experience in version control systems such as git, and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience in managing Docker containers and containerized environments.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and deployment of full-stack applications, integrating Python backends with modern front-end frameworks and libraries, which are deployed on leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Build and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions aligned with organizational objectives, such as, LLM-based domain-specific AI Chatbots.
• Lead the development of apps on collaborative platforms like MS Teams and the Viva suite.
• Collaborate with product, business, and operations teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Present technical concepts and outcomes to leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Write secure, reusable, testable, and performant code, and enforce best practices across the team.
• Guide and mentor other developers, providing feedback and supporting their growth.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices, with a strong focus on secure and efficient coding practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and tools.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize development efforts.
• Lead team meetings and discussions.
• Manage GitHub repositories.

Global development team of 7 spread across the US, Europe and APAC region - with a focus on emerging technologies and applications to benefit our internal workforce.

Annual base salary gross: 62,900 EUR to 100,700 EUR Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
