We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented GRC Systems AVP to join the MR Risk team. This position supports the reporting of global operational risk management program across Moody’s Ratings (MR), focussing on the evolution and improvement of our Governance, Risk and Control system. Key responsibilities include the following:
* Function as the lead on the evolution and improvement of our GRC tool hosted on IBM OpenPages/Cognos
* Use your experience and listen to stakeholders needs to propose creative solutions to enhancing the tool.
* Consult with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are user friendly, adjusting designs as required.
* Improve Cognos reporting capabilities by collaborating with external consultants to deliver reports that stakeholders need to manage their risk profiles.
* Interact with other areas of Moody’s that use the GRC tool, working collaboratively to find common solutions.
* Conduct User Acceptance Testing for all changes.
* Act as first point of contact for IBM OpenPages/Cognos queries from the MR Business, diagnosing the issue, responding, proposing a technical solution if needed, and/or escalating as appropriate.
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting procedures and output, proposing systemic enhancements where appropriate.
* Assist in the development and provide training to the MR Business for how to use IBM OpenPages/Cognos
* Manage the user population of IBM OpenPages including onboarding/offboarding and periodic recertification.
* Collate and produce high quality reporting for senior stakeholders
* Support other risk related initiatives and ad-hoc requests as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience working with IBM OpenPages/Cognos, understanding its capabilities. Development skills preferred.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation (written and verbal), and listening skills.
* Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment.
* Flexibility and adaptability in work approach
* Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
* Knowledge of Operational Risk Management concepts including RCSA, Issue and Event management
* Work overlapping hours with London and New York office.
* Bachelor's degree
* 5 years or more of related Business or Risk Management work experience
