Identify and evaluate risk themes and trends, consolidate the results of the RCSAs and report results to the CSS leadership team and appropriate risk committees. - Issues and Events Management: Facilitate the issues and events management and control framework within CSS, including collaborating with action plan owners and reviewing remediation plans for adequacy of actions to be performed. Provide oversight to ensure timely escalation and adequate root-cause analysis. Perform appropriate documentation of issues and events within the global risk and control system (GRC).
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs): Work with process owners to develop metrics for key business risks within CSS. Aggregate and report on KRI results, identifying themes and trends. Monitor remediation actions for tolerance breaches.
- Reporting: Work closely with Moody’s Ratings second line risk team to report and track risk issues in the GRC and support the business' risk reporting.
- Risk Awareness: Within CSS, establish and promote the use of the above risk-related tools, data and metrics to enable CSS risk-owners to take timely, informed risk decisions. Provide guidance to CSS groups on design and application of the risk framework.
- Risk Committees: Support presentations to and organization of Moody’s Ratings risk committees, in particular the Credit Rating Risk Committee.
- Compliance, Regulatory & Internal Audit liaison: work closely with Compliance / Regulatory / Internal Audit functions to ensure timely escalation and remediation of business risks, as appropriate.
- CSS projects: Work with the CSS First Line Risk Officer and CSS teams to identify or understand areas where analytical or operational processes, policies and procedures require review and enhancement and assist in coordinating or supporting (as appropriate) those enhancement efforts
