Skills and Competencies

 

  • 7-10 years of experience managing end user technologies.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a people management role.
  • Technical experience with Microsoft 365, mobile device management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune), Windows/Mac desktop, and/or other end user computing technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience identifying and executing on automation opportunities.
  • Ability to produce high quality reporting/dashboards that drive strong decision making and process improvement.
  • Desired Skill: Use AI and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, including automating repetitive tasks, and streamlining workflows across departments.
  • Understanding of ITIL (Certification preferred)

 

 

Education 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

 


Responsibilities

 

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Leader with extensive experience in overseeing operations teams supporting the technologies that enable a global workforce. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless management of Moody’s end user technologies, including our endpoint, collaboration, and conferencing capabilities. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, offering operational services that support a reliable, resilient, and high performing employee experience across our Windows/Mac endpoint estate, conferencing services, voice telephony, and our comprehensive Microsoft 365 environment (including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, mobility, and archiving/eDiscovery). As a people leader, you will support your team in delivering excellent results through strategic guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration that advances our organizational priorities.

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers: Provide visionary leadership that motivates and inspires team members to excel. Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative environment where diverse ideas and perspectives are valued.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development sessions: Use clear communication and active listening to provide constructive feedback, set achievable goals, and support individual growth aligned with team objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment: Implement strategies to enhance teamwork, encourage knowledge-sharing, and resolve conflicts effectively, ensuring alignment with the broader operating model.
  • Technical experience managing the Microsoft 365 services is preferred, demonstrating expertise in technical operations while balancing long-term strategic planning to continuously improve and secure services.
  • Oversee operational processes & automations: Optimize workflows and tools, troubleshoot efficiently, and empower the team to prioritize tasks aligned with business needs.
  • Provide Level 3 support: Leverage technical acumen to resolve complex issues, while empowering and mentoring team members to develop their own troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams: Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless integration of digital workplace services, while advocating for the team’s priorities and contributions.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and capabilities: Actively seek opportunities to refine the operating model by incorporating new tools and practices, fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
  • Participate in engineering projects: Support the definition project scopes and priorities with clarity, supporting successful operationalization (as a key component of project delivery) while aligning efforts with overarching organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders: Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions and communicate progress effectively to ensure transparency and shared understanding.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation: Ensure all configurations, policies, and procedures are meticulously recorded, enabling the team to operate with consistency and efficiency.
  • Generate regular reports on service performance: Provide data-driven insights that help the team refine their focus, prioritize work, and align resources effectively.
  • Participate in annual compliance audits: Lead efforts to prepare and execute audits with thoroughness and integrity, showcasing the team’s commitment to high standards.
  • Participate in on-call escalation schedule as a technology leader during weekends for any urgent issues and major outages

 


About the team

 

Join the Digital Workplace Operations Leadership Team and you'll work at the highest systems level to provide expert advice and counsel to users, management and IT project teams for systems of the most complex nature (typically crossing function/location lines).

Annual base salary gross: 62,900 EUR to 100,700 EUR. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
