About the Role:

Moody’s is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Director - Operations Specialist to join our Finance & Business Operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial services and a passion for driving operational efficiency, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to support strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Lead the management and continuous improvement of internal request workflows to optimize performance and transparency.
  • Oversee invoice approval and tracking processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Manage vendor contracts and assist with vendor reviews to support procurement and risk management efforts.
  • Support FP&A activities, including data analysis, reporting, and coordination of financial requests.
  • Maintain and enhance the DE Wiki to ensure up-to-date and accessible documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and contribute to various ad-hoc projects that support business operations and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, business operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., creating executive-level presentations).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration is highly desirable.
