If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills and Competencies

  • 3–5 years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally within the data or SaaS industries.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering both high-level overviews and detailed product demonstrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative approach.
  • Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (fluency in both is a strong plus).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel within Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Education

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree), preferably in business, economics, or IT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Moody’s presence among Government and Public Entities in the Benelux region.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach (including cold calls/emails and campaigns) to closing and onboarding.
  • Represent Moody’s as a trusted advisor to institutional clients and prospects.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and Solution Specialists to ensure a unified market approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline data.
  • Participate in regular travel across the region to engage clients in face-to-face meetings.

Our Sales team is focused on driving Moody’s growth by building strong relationships with clients and delivering tailored solutions. By joining our team, you will play a key role in expanding our market footprint, fostering long-term partnerships, and contributing to a dynamic and innovative sales culture.
