Skills and Competencies

• 4-5 years of experience in data remediation, enrichment, or data operations, including team and project management.
• Proven experience managing teams of analysts or data specialists.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau or QlikView for reporting and visualization.
• Exposure to Python, PySpark, and Databricks is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Education 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management 

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Specialists and Senior Data Specialists performing data remediation and enrichment tasks.
• Provide direction, feedback, and performance coaching to ensure consistent delivery and professional growth.
• Foster a team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee workload management, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely project delivery.

Data Quality & Enrichment 

• Supervise end-to-end processes to correct incomplete, inconsistent, or duplicate entity data.
• Ensure validated and enriched data meets defined quality standards and governance requirements.
• Utilize Excel, SQL, and, where relevant, Python within Databricks to support data validation and process tracking.
• Maintain clear documentation of remediation activities, rationale, and outcomes.

Project Management 

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication for ongoing data remediation and enrichment initiatives.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and resources.
• Track progress against milestones and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks.

Analysis & Insights 

• Identify recurring data quality issues and patterns to uncover root causes and drive process improvements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develop reports and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau or QlikView and presentations in PowerPoint to share insights, trends, and progress updates.

Quality Assurance 

• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of remediated data.
• Conduct periodic audits and collaborate with data governance teams to refine validation rules and data standards.

Continuous Improvement 

• Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Leverage tools like Databricks, Python, and Power BI or Tableau or QlikView to streamline manual workflows and reporting.
• Stay informed about data management best practices and promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
