Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Process Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing systems for effective and efficient data remediation, tracking data quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensuring that our databases are accurate, consistent, and accessible. This role demands a high level of analytical prowess, technical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data quality issues.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as the Senior Business Analyst will need to effectively convey complex data concepts and the importance of data quality initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to facilitate collaboration and consensus among diverse groups within the organization is key to driving successful data remediation projects and fostering a data-informed culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data remediation processes and systems to identify, assess, and correct data quality issues, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
  • Develop and track data quality KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management on the status of data quality and effectiveness of remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to establish automated data quality checks and balances within our data ecosystem.
  • Utilize SQL, Python, and other data manipulation tools to analyze data, identify patterns and anomalies, and implement data correction measures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on data quality issues, remediation processes, and data governance policies.
  • Develop visualization tools and dashboards to communicate data quality metrics and remediation progress to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in data management practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in data quality and remediation to continuously refine and enhance our data management strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis or business analyst role, with a significant focus on data quality and remediation.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data visualization tools and dashboards, preferably with platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of data governance principles, data quality metrics, and the processes involved in data correction and remediation.
  • Proven ability to design and manage complex projects, with a track record of delivering data management solutions that enhance data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
