Skills and Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in global Infrastructure and Network support environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge in networking protocols and technologies: BGP peering, routing/switching, MPLS, OSPF, and ISIS
- Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VLAN, NAT, ACLs, and firewalls
- Experience supporting Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM): performing basic troubleshooting and administration
- Exposure to Cloud operations (Azure/AWS) – VM administration, basic networking (VNet/VPC) and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration – user/group management, RDP, and service monitoring alert mitigation.
- Basic understanding of Backup and Storage concepts – backup status validation, LUN mounting, and ticket triaging
- Proficiency in network and system troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Azure Network Watcher, and Log Analytics
- Working knowledge of ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management
- Understanding of network security principles, including access control, segmentation, and data flow policies
- Exposure to automation tools like Python, Ansible, or StackStorm is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholder
Education
• Proven hands-on Infrastructure and Network engineering experience
• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Responsibilities
- Configure and install various network and infrastructure devices/services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS
- Perform proactive network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, service packs, firmware updates, and security configurations
- Monitor infrastructure performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal response times across servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Conduct system health checks, resource utilization monitoring (CPU, memory, disk), and trend analysis for capacity planning
- Provide advanced L2/L3 support and troubleshooting for network, server, and infrastructure-related incidents and service requests
- Manage Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) tasks such as IP address reservations, fixed address allocations, DHCP scope configurations, and DNS entry updates
- Perform regular backup operations including initiating backups, verifying backup completion, and supporting restoration activities in coordination with the backup team
- Take and manage VM snapshots, assist with VM provisioning, and track resource utilization on virtual infrastructure
- Monitor and respond to Windows server alerts, including disk space thresholds, high CPU usage, memory leaks, and service failures
- Work within ITSM-defined change and configuration management processes to ensure controlled implementation of infrastructure and network changes
- Participate in rotational weekend shifts or on-call support, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and proactive system health checks
- Lead service restoration for major incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes in alignment with SLO targets
- Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to enforce security policies, patch management, and implement secure configurations
- Maintain and update documentation for system configurations, workflows, SOPs, and operational procedures
- Drive adoption of automation and orchestration tools to streamline routine tasks and improve response times
- Deliver technical guidance and training to junior team members and cross-functional teams as needed
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including incident, change, problem, configuration, and major incident management · Collaborate across TSG towers (Network, Server, Backup, Storage, Cloud) and other support areas to coordinate resolution of cross-functional issues

The Technology Services Group (TSG) are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer with a focus on supporting the Enterprise network and faster resolution of incidents or tickets related to networks. As a key member of our global network support team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, high performance, and reliability.
