Skills and Competencies

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in finance or corporate services.
  • Good knowledge of capital markets in North America.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to suggest solutions.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand ratings, legal, and compliance matters.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a multicultural team environment.

Education:

  • Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree preferably in finance, accounting, business, or economics, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal and customer-facing support related to customer information, revenue recognition, regulations, and projects.
  • Minimize Unbilled and Accounts Receivable, as well as deals in LOB pipeline, Unbilled and Accounts Receivable. Work with Sales teams, GMO, Pricing, Billing and Collections to determine root causes and corrective actions for aged LOB.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and participate in projects focused on improving customer relationships and operational efficiency.
  • Enter invoice requests, handle billing inquiries, and maintain customer data in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve Moody's ratings commercial processes and data quality in Salesforce.
  • Assist Relationship Management team with data gathering, entry, and clean-up tasks.
  • Participate in projects as assigned.

About the Team

An individual contributor responsible for internal and customer facing support related to customer information, revenue recognition, regulations, projects, and other supporting operations functions which are core knowledge areas for future career growth. Under the direct supervision of the AVP Sales Operations and/or Manager Sales Operations, works with internal functions to identify and resolve issues causing unbilled and aged Accounts Receivable, produces reports to improve line of sight by the Sales function to issuer related issues, prepares presentations and participates in projects passionate about improving customer relationships, regulatory compliance, and operational improvement.
