Skills and Competencies

  • Event coordination or marketing operations experience, ideally within B2B or corporate environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple in-person and virtual events simultaneously
  • Proven experience supporting live, virtual, and hybrid events with a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across varying seniority levels
  • Familiarity with event and CRM platforms such as Wavecast, Salesforce, Marketo, and Zoom
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold brand and compliance standards
  • Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to guide teams in applying AI tools to streamline workflows, uncover insights, and boost marketing efficiency
  • Curious and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for exploring AI systems and a commitment to learning responsible AI practices—including risk management, ethical use, and transparency
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential, with flexibility for travel and non-standard working hours

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of local in-person events, including seminars, roundtables, workshops, and client briefings
  • Coordinate end-to-end event logistics such as venues, audio visual support, catering, signage, materials, and vendor communication
  • Act as on-site event support to ensure professional execution and a seamless attendee experience
  • Deliver virtual events and webinars, including speaker preparation, platform setup, live coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Support sponsored and partner events, including branding, collateral logistics, lead capture, and reporting
  • Manage attendee communications, registrations, check-in processes, and accurate data capture within event systems
  • Track event performance, support post-event reporting, and contribute insights for continuous improvement

About the Team

The Associate, Global Events role supports the delivery of high-quality local and regional events across Moody’s Analytics Field Marketing and Moody’s Ratings. The team works closely with regional stakeholders, the Global Events function, and cross-functional partners to execute in-person events, webinars, sponsorship activations, and client engagements. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that plays a key part in delivering consistent, premium event experiences across the region.
