Skills and Competencies
- Looking for candidates with experience 0 to 2 years, preferably with some knowledge in Structured Finance domain
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Able to interpret and analyse legal documents
- Contribute towards team goals by showing initiative
- Must have attention to detail
- Team player with ability to work and push themselves in tight deliverable schedule
- Programming skills preferred - VBA, Python, SQL.
Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of work experience in the area of Structured Finance in any capacity.
OR
- MBA Finance or equivalent degree having completed/pursuing professional financial courses such as CFA, FRM etc. with a basic understanding of Structured Finance.
Responsibilities
An Associate Financial Engineer in the India Cash Flow modelling team will be responsible for waterfall cash flow modelling of structured finance deals to increase the coverage of US CMBS & RMBS libraries. You will be expected to collaborate with other financial engineers, data team, client facing teams, and developers from multiple locations globally to improve the quantity and quality of our content offerings as well as the efficiency of our business processes.
* Build, develop and troubleshoot quantitative financial models for a variety of structured finance asset classes, including CMBS and RMBS which are used by clients to analyse their portfolios.
* Participate in quality and productivity enhancement projects.
* Participate modelling and updating tool development and enhancement.
* Work closely with each client support teams regarding client challenges and new feature developments.
About the team
Our Cash Flow modelling team is responsible for creating waterfall cash flow models. Cash Flow Team comprises highly qualified people, who are passionate about work and serving clients globally.
