Associate Director - Senior Project Manager, Data Solutions

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager for Data Solutions, you will report to the Strategic Projects Program Manager, managing some of the most strategically important projects for our organization. You will be responsible for applying the most suitable project management methodologies to a project given its nature, coaching team members on successful delivery and managing communication of progress, impediments and risks.

Skills:

• Proficient at managing projects - Agile or Waterfall methodologies - and selecting the most appropriate for the project
• Agile Methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and Scaled Agile
• Experience coordinating and facilitating one or multiple scrum teams simultaneously
• Project planning and sizing, road mapping and dependency management
• Ensure resource allocation and drive resource planning activities
• Software engineering background (development, testing, etc)
• An accountable, proactive, self-motivated attitude, able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with a great sense of ownership/ accountability.
• A client-centric and adaptable with the ability to foster change in dynamic environments.
• Professional presentation skills with experience of regularly presenting a variety of different audiences including senior executives.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience managing mid to large-scale technology programs or projects, preferably in international environment, within IT/software companies.
• 3+ years working in an Agile/scale responsibility Scrum Master Role
• Experience in Agile transformation and implementing Agile practices in non-mature agile organizations
• Experience and knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile) Framework
• An advanced level of written and spoken English level is mandatory, fluency in French desirable
• Experience in Data related digital transformations desirable
• Orientation towards work efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Highly organized, and attentive to detail.
• Good problem solving and analysis skills.
• Familiarity with tracking or project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)
• Industry certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, ICAgile, SAFe, Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP -Project Management Professional) are a plus.
