Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in product strategy or related roles within financial institutions or the software industry.
- Proven track record in driving product strategy for generative AI, including identifying use cases, conducting market sizing and competitive analysis, defining product requirements, and aligning technical capabilities with business goals.
- Deep understanding of generative AI techniques and frameworks, especially large language models (LLMs) and their applications in financial services.
- Experience building commercial products leveraging LLMs is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and written skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Client-focused, using personas and client feedback to inform product development.
- Strong grasp of agile methodologies with experience in refining processes through retrospectives and KPI reviews.
- Creative thinker who can find innovative solutions beyond current constraints.
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships to drive success.

Education
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent advanced business degree is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for generative AI products, ensuring alignment with Moody’s overall business objectives and market needs. Research emerging trends in generative AI to identify high-value opportunities for innovation.
- Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to identify relevant use cases for generative AI solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Technology, and Marketing teams to translate ideas into actionable product requirements and prototypes. Work closely with senior leadership to align generative AI projects with broader organizational goals.
- Draft product briefing documents and accurately document product initiatives.
- Create business cases and support financial models to inform product strategy decisions.
- Define client personas and workflows served by our products.
- Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis to inform the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for Moody's Analytics' GenAI offerings.
- Establish a continuous feedback loop with key customers to understand their evolving needs and ensure that product development aligns with their strategic priorities.
- Support client and sales inquiries, attend sales meetings to drive renewal conversations, and escalate issues as needed.
