Skills and Competencies

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, with experience in consultancy, advisory, or corporate industries.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new markets and securing new client logos.
  • Experience in selling complex data and software solutions and experience in providing supply chain and supplier risk assessment advice and involvement in supply chain transformation projects is preferred
  • Prior experience selling to large government departments is highly advantageous.
  • Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles, with strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong knowledge of supplier risk products and investigation tools.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years’ experience in consultative selling with the ability to influence key decision-makers

 

Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for generating new KYC / KYS / KYB, compliance, investigation, intelligence, supply chain and supplier risk-related deals and supporting the sales cycle process through to the successful closure of deals. 
The successful candidate will work within the framework of growing the client base, assisting the sales team in new business generation for KYC, KYS and compliance domain-related business, and providing expert knowledge on Moody’s suite of third party risk and data solutions. 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proven capability:

  • Strong prospecting and new business development experience
  • Meet established revenue targets while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage full lifecycle sales process, which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations
  • Generate new revenue from research, product and service solutions and defend & grow existing revenue streams
  • Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events, as required
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Demonstrate the superiority and value of our solutions to potential and existing clients
  • Partner with the wider sales team to build the sales pipeline and promote Moody’s solutions
  • Work with the Partnership & Alliance team to expand Moody’s footprint in the market through partner ecosystem
  • Provide guidance and leadership to existing members of the KYC sales team
  • Assist senior sales management with sales strategy development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of the government or the corporate segment is highly preferrable


This role will report to the Head of KYC and Data Sales (Oceania)
Travel required within Australia and NZ (up to 20%)
