If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Analytical mindset with commercial acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in contract review and negotiation processes.
  • Familiarity with various data types (e.g., company, financial, news, alternative data) and their business applications.
  • Understanding of market trends in data acquisition, partnerships, and AI-driven solutions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPP, CDMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute strategic initiatives for acquiring and managing data from a diverse network of information providers (IPs).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IPs, exploring partnership and collaboration opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations for data license agreements with new and existing providers.
  • Support proactive risk management to ensure continuity of data supply.
  • Monitor global and regional market trends to inform sourcing strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct landscape analysis of IPs aligned with Moody’s evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to build-vs-buy evaluations to identify optimal data sources for specific use cases.
  • Manage IP onboarding processes, including due diligence and vendor management activities.
