Role

This is a strategic and exciting role for shaping and driving Moody’s future business relations and market presence with Governments and Public Entities in the United Kingdom, Ireland and European countries.

The role will be key in acquiring new clients and maximizing revenue in a dynamic, team-oriented, and fast-paced selling environment. This requires a combination of market knowledge and Moody’s suite of solutions plus the ability to coordinate different teams and corporate functions in the sales process.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the assigned territory to execute a sales expansion strategy aimed at exceeding annual sales goals and targets.

  • Take full ownership of the sales process, initiating new sales activities through consistent market outreach, including campaigns and cold emails/calls.
  • Act as an ambassador for Moody’s, representing the organization to institutional clients and prospects, ensuring Moody’s is seen as a trusted partner.
  • Deliver autonomously presentations and demonstrations of Moody’s suite of solutions and premium data.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Solution Specialists to ensure a coordinated market approach
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, including international trips, to engage in face-to-face meetings.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Self-starting and entrepreneurial attitude, with a strong focus on new business generation
  • Ability to present both high-level information and detailed demonstrations of products and services
  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree), preferably in business, economics, or IT.
  • Full fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus with Spanish or Greek preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client-facing roles, preferably in the data or SaaS industries.
