Within the Central Product Group, the Generative Intelligence Group is focused on innovation and product development in the field of generative AI. We are looking for a product manager to join our team and lead the development of our flagship products.

Role Overview

As a product manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. You will work closely with a scrum team of engineers, designers, and researchers, as well as with stakeholders and users. You will work with the Director of Product Management to build the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and will be responsible for communicating them effectively to the team to implement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional product squad focused on the development of Moody’s innovation led products. Working across emerging technologies such as generative AI and blockchain and digital assets.
  • Define and prioritize user stories, bugs, and tasks to accomplish the roadmap
  • Drive collaboration across technology, research and design teams to translate user needs into actionable product milestones
  • Collaborate with the research team to gather market research and user feedback to identify user problems, needs and opportunities
  • Manage the rituals and ceremonies for your product squad and facilitate alignment and communication across squads to monitor interdependencies and make sound decisions
  • Work with technology to understand complexity of various solutions and shape the leanest version to launch with and iteratively test
  • Gather appropriate stakeholder input to build, prune, and maintain and prioritize the product backlog, consisting mostly of user stories, but also defects, refactors and infrastructure work
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the emerging tech domain, and identify the potential opportunities and threats for the product.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a product manager or a similar role in the software industry.
  • Experience in managing agile software development projects, using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in working with generative AI technologies a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and ability to work with data and metrics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for creating innovative and impactful products that solve real-world problems.
