Skills and Competencies

  • Solid understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and data engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI models and platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Google Gemini, with a willingness to experiment and learn
  • Familiarity with modern AI development environments, cloud platforms, and collaborative tools
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated interest in applied AI and machine learning through coursework, research, or open-source contributions

Education 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Business, Finance, or related fields
  • Available for a 10-week internship from June 15 to August 21, 2026

Responsibilities
The Banking Business Unit works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services to clients. As a Summer Intern, you will contribute to applied AI initiatives, including generative AI projects, that support financial risk assessment and decision-making. You will gain practical exposure through structured training, hands-on project work, and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing AI prototypes for financial risk assessment and decision support
  • Conducting data analysis and context engineering using banking and financial datasets
  • Researching emerging AI tools, frameworks, and academic methods relevant to current use cases
  • Contributing to applied AI projects, including generative AI initiatives, that address real-world business challenges
  • Translating business requirements into AI-driven solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating insights and project outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and their applications in banking
